Colorful Indonesia Festival

Part of Carol Creek Culture Series

Colorful Indonesia is an Indonesian cultural and culinary festival at Carroll Creek Park in downtown Frederick, Maryland. Colorful Indonesia is one event in the Carroll Creek Culture Series program hosted by the Asian American Center of Frederick (AACF).  The Carroll Creek Culture Series program is the first of its kind from AACF and it is a part of the Downtown Frederick Partnership’s First Saturday’s celebrations. With this program, AACF seeks to highlight and celebrate Asian culture and heritage. For Colorful Indonesia, AACF is partnering up with the Indonesian American Association (IAA) to showcase Indonesian culture. This event  will feature collaborations with Indonesian organizations and cultural groups in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area (DC, Maryland and Virginia). Colorful Indonesia is also a part of series of events celebrating Indonesia's Independence Day, which falls on August 17, 2022, and is supported by The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, Washington, D.C.
